Abstract FAQs


If selected, do I receive a discount on registration? All speakers are responsible to register, pay for, and attend NAEP EPIC25. Coordinate and pay for all necessary travel arrangements and hotel guest room reservations. Speakers will receive a $200 discount off registration.
My presentation will have multiple speakers. Do they need to submit a separate submission? No. Towards the end of the submission form there will be the option to add additional presenters. All presenters should be included in the presentation submission. If so some reason you are still working to firm up co-presenters, please note this in your submission. We may be able to provide assistance.
If my presentation is selected, will I need to sign an agreement to present? All speakers for a presentations must complete an agreement form to be confirmed for a session. Formal agreements will be provided at the time of selection. Highlights of this agreement include: 1) NAEP can publish and distribute, in a variety of forms, the abstract for the Presenter’s session, PowerPoint slides and related materials for the presentation, and 2) NAEP will utilize his/her name, likeness, photograph, and biographical data in connection with the use and promotion of any aspect of the concurrent session and the annual conference. 3) NAEP can choose to record the presentation for use in NAEP's education material library (LMS, Virtual Event, etc). If selected, presenter(s) also agree: to present in-person during the time slot assigned. to prepare course content, including PowerPoint presentation and session engagements for a one-hour session. All course materials must be submitted to NAEP at the date agreed up after selection notification. warrant and represent that the presentation and related materials are factually accurate and contain no material libelous or otherwise unlawful. presentation is free from any sales or promotional content for products and services.
Can I make updates to my presentation? During the submission period you will be able to make updates prior to submitting the proposal using the save option. If you need to make an update to a presentation that has been submitted, please contact sluther@naepnet.org. After the closing date, adjustments cannot be made. This also includes after the presentation has been selected.
